According to NASCAR.com, the Michigan International Speedway is home of the state’s largest single-day, paid-admission sporting events since 1992. The track has made many improvements throughout the years. In 2002, the track became the first track to use polymer-enhanced asphalt that was especially formulated for high-banked racing and harsh Michigan winters. Today, Michigan International Speedway is considered one of the country’s premier racing facilities.
The next NASCAR Truck series race will be on July 11 at the Iowa Speedway. You can view a complete list of the 2010 NASCAR Truck Series schedule on the official NASCAR site, http://www.nascar.com/races/truck/2010/data/schedule.html.
