With the ever increasing prices of gas, auto manufactures in Detroit and even Japan and Germany are turning more to the electric cars as a solution to the problem. These solutions include cars that can go 0-60 mph in four seconds and can travel over 200 miles before needing to recharge.
The sporty Tesla Roadster model is run off of many lithium batteries similar to those in your laptop. Let’s be honest though, if you’re not in the market for a sports car, then maybe you’d be interested in GM’s family style Chevy Volt. With a starting price of around $20,000, this state of the art vehicle has many of the same advantages as the Roadster.
