SafeAuto Seeks Musicians in Cincinnati for "Do The Jingle" Contest

SafeAuto Insurance, a state minimum auto insurance company based out of Columbus, Ohio, will be holding auditions for its annual “Do The Jingle” contest. Cincinnati, Ohio will be the third stop for the SafeAuto team, who will be visiting six different cities in search of this year’s most entertaining musician or performer. The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 plus a role in a SafeAuto television commercial.


With the popularity of SafeAuto’s well-known jingle, the contest has been a great success in the past. Last year’s competition generated over 3 million online votes in addition to media publicity throughout the country. The “Do The Jingle” contest allows entrants to create their own rendition of the jingle, which SafeAuto will film and post on the company’s “Do The Jingle” website. Starting January 06, 2014, fans can vote for their favorite entries on the SafeAuto’s “Do The Jingle” website. For official rules, visit:

Last year’s contest brought many entries. Ayanna Lewis, a Cincinnati native, and her catchy jingle received the most votes as she was awarded the winner, which resulted in a commercial spot seen throughout the country. This year’s winning contestant will also be awarded $5,000.00 and a role in a SafeAuto commercial.
