Over 10,000 people attended the 97.9 DUB Car Show and Concert Tour in Dallas, Texas this past weekend. Famous rap and hip-hop artists performed for massive crowds and lavish cars were on display for all to see. SafeAuto Insurance, official sponsors of the event, put on a show of their own.
UFC® superstar Nate Diaz signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans at the SafeAuto-Graph Booth. Diaz informed the crowd of his arrival by running onto the performance stage and throwing signed SafeAuto Fight Team T-Shirts into the audience. “It is always great to meet with my fans in-between fights,” said Diaz.
The crowd at SafeAuto’s booth was already jam-packed upon Diaz’s arrival. Once budding hip-hop stars Ca$hout and Dorrough arrived, droves of people swarmed the state minimum auto insurance carriers stand to meet the celebrities. “It’s crazy over here,” said Ca$hout. “Driving with SafeAuto is cheap so people won’t be spending all their money.”
As hundreds of fans were waiting for their free autographs, SafeAuto was also giving away two VIP backstage passes for the opportunity to meet even more celebrities. Ronald and Dorothy Johnson of Desoto, Texas were the lucky, randomly selected winners. “What a great giveaway for a company to be doing,” remarked Ronald. “To not only give prizes to fans but also showing their support of local artists is great!”
Soaking up the VIP experience, Ronald and Dorothy witnessed Slim Thug and Paul Wall backstage giving shout-outs on-camera to SafeAuto. “Make sure you don’t text and drive,” stated Slim Thug. “Holler at SafeAuto, they are going to take care of you.”
The DUB Car Show and Concert Tour offered plenty of entertaining options throughout the day. With a UFC® fighter, musicians and prize giveaways at their booth, visitors certainly took notice of the SafeAuto-Graph Booth in the Lone Star State.
