Quentin is a five-year-old boy who loves to laugh and play. Unlike most children, Quentin faces daily struggles with Neurofibromatosis, a nerve disorder in which tumors grow on the tissue. This brave little boy has already endured several surgeries at such a young age. Through all that Quentin has faced, his positive spirit continues to shine through his magnetic smile.
Quentin always ‘Plays It Safe’ and never leaves home without his light saber. Quentin was visited by his Wish-Granting Volunteers, and was granted his one true wish last summer: to go to Walt Disney World® Resort and become a Jedi Knight. (He’s a BIG Star Wars fan). He and his family served as the Honorary Wish Family at the BIG Wish Gala. “The fact that the Make-A-Wish Foundation enabled Quentin to have his one wish, and does this for different kids every day really just blows me away,” says Steven Diamond, Human Resources Manager for SafeAuto Insurance I’m so happy that SafeAuto was able to be a part of it.”
On Friday April 5, 2013 Quentin, along with brother Brendan and parents Kim and Matt will be visiting the SafeAuto office in Columbus to thank us for our generous support as Central Ohio’s main sponsor for Make-A-Wish and granting Quentin’s wish to Disney World®. “It’s amazing to see the impact we’ve had on Quentin,” remarks Diamond. “To be able to give someone who’s had so much hardship in their lives even a day of happiness and joy… there’s really nothing like it and I’m so thrilled that SafeAuto was able to do this for Quentin.”
